The ball joint is constructed for repair if the original aluminum knuckle is knocked out and the ball joint is no longer clamped properly. Thus, the hole in the aluminum knuckle bored (spindled) and the knuckle can be used still.

The ball joint is constructed for repair if the original aluminum knuckle is knocked out and the ball joint is no longer clamped properly. Thus, the hole in the aluminum knuckle can be drilled out and reused.
