Hot Rods' heavy-duty OE replacement connecting rods are manufactured from certified 8620 AISI steel and offer superior strength and reliability – even under the most extreme conditions.
The crankpins are made of hot-rolled ASTM 4115 steel, case-hardened to 58-62 Rc for maximum durability and wear resistance.

Constructed with the latest needle bearing technology, these connecting rods offer superior smoothness, high speed stability, and long service life. The specially developed connecting rod design with side millings and vent slots minimizes bearing shell distortion at high speeds and ensures optimal oil distribution.

The small connecting rod ends are double-drilled, allowing for improved lubrication and cooling of the piston pin bearing – especially important for engines with a small clearance between the piston crown and the bearing.

Each connecting rod is shot-peened to eliminate surface tension and optimize the transition shapes of the forged radii.
Double honing ensures an extremely round bearing surface and maximum reliability, even under continuous load and at high speeds.
