Bronco Lambda Sensor for POLARIS Vehicles

The lambda/oxygen sensor (often also called "lambda sensor" or "O₂ sensor") is used in vehicles like those POLARIS (e.g., ATVs, UTVs) to measure the composition of the exhaust gases and then control the engine electronics accordingly.

The sensor measures the oxygen content in the exhaust stream (or the air-fuel ratio) and sends this signal to the engine control unit (ECU).

Based on this measurement, the ECU can regulate the injection quantity and, if necessary, other parameters to achieve the optimal air-fuel ratio.

This results in: better combustion, lower fuel consumption, and reduced emissions.

If the sensor is defective or dirty, the ECU can deliver incorrect injection quantities: this can lead to poor engine performance, increased fuel consumption, or even engine damage.

When installing, ensure correct seating, cable connection, and a heat-dissipating environment to allow the sensor to measure accurately.
